How we work at Ornan Kitchens and Wardrobes

How we work in 5 easy steps:

Step 1

Ornan Kitchens  is easy to find , based in Demailstown, Wilkinstown, Navan County Meath, just 10 minutes drive from Navan Town Centre. Our opening times are from 8a.m to 5p.m Monday to Friday, closed weekends and Bank Holidays. Out of hours consultations are by appointment only. These can be made over the phone on 046 90 5588 1 or on Ronan O’Reilly’s mobile 086 273 1209, or contact us by email.

Step 2

Once Ronan has chatted with you, he will organise an appointment that suits you, as we understand that it may not be convenient to meet here in Wilkinstown during our working hours. Once you are here in our showrooms Ronan will go through all our ranges of Kitchens with you; whether you are looking for a bespoke hand painted in-frame Kitchen or a more traditional one or perhaps a sleek modern Hi-Gloss kitchen? What ever your budget, we pride ourselves on being able to provide you with a Kitchen that will wow and fit your every requirement.Taking notes and listening carefully Ronan is able to help you out in this process, for it can be a little overwhelming, like “a kid in a sweet shop”, with so much variety of Kitchen styles to choose from. As soon as you decide on one or perhaps a couple of door styles and colours, it then comes to getting the exact measurements of your kitchen, therefore a day and time, that once again fits in with your daily schedule is made with you.

Step 3

Ronan takes these detailed measurements himself for there is nothing worse for a potential client than having a stranger come into their home, whom they have not met. And as you and Ronan have both discussed your new Kitchen thoroughly, while he is there he can make suggestions that may not have occurred to you in regards to the proposed lay out. A quite exciting process for the client and Ronan, for it is at this point where the nucleus of the new concept begins to form.

Step 4

The measurements along with Ronan’s notes and his first impression of how the kitchen could look are handed over to his designer. Together they walk through the client’s wish list, the door styles they have chosen and any architectural variations that the clients Kitchen may have; for example a vaulted ceiling with sky light windows, perhaps high ceilings and tall windows or indeed an extension that has to incorporate a low RSJ. These all have to be taken into account and incorporated into the 3D ArtiCAD design. Keeping the clients needs in mind the designer draws up the room, builds the cabinetry and places the appliances in their optimum position, making the best possible use of the available space. The three dimensional images the ArtiCAD package generates are then rendered and saved as colour images. In turn these will be emailed to the client.

Step 5

On final approval of the design from the client Ronan then prices up the project, and once the go ahead is given, a deposit of 50% is made. The 50% balance is then paid on the day of fitting/completion.

It normally takes two weeks from approval to fitting, but this may be slightly longer when it comes to Bespoke, In-Frame kitchens or indeed any off standard door sizes. If our client requires any electrical or plumbing work along with their new kitchen, this service is also available on request and is priced separately.

Ronan is contactable at all hours to his clients and is happy to answer any and all queries related to their new kitchen.

The 5 steps pointed out above also apply to new Utilities, Wardrobes and Home Offices.
